Lapierre have once again progressed for 2014 making some huge changes for 2014. The French brand has fully embraced both 27.5″ and 29″ for 2014, including the surprise introduction of two RANGES of Zesty. The Trail and All-Mountain.
One of our best sellers this year The Spicy gets 27.5" Wheels. Keep the handling as good as current models was Key so the chainstays remain at 430mm

lapierre wanted to increase stability on descending for 2014,The revamped design has seen the frame lengthened in the top tube – 15mm longer on the medium frame and 10mm on the large frame. Bottom bracket heights have been dropped by 10mm
Head angle is 66.5°, actually half a degree steeper than the current Spicy to counter the slowing effect of the larger wheel.
Three models will be available in this range available: Spicy Team (carbon) and the Spicy 527 and the 327 (alloy frame)
The Zesty AM uses the exact same frame as the Spicy, but with a shorter travel fork, more efficient suspension kinematics and different components for more all-round performance.
The head angle remains at 67°, and with 430mm chain stays the much loved handling of the 26" Should remain
Lapierre have a 29er trail bike to fill the hole between the cross country racing XR and the Zesty.
